Sure. Why not?
"(Edith 'Joy' Clement) has stated that the Supreme Court ``has clearly held that the right to privacy guaranteed by the Constitution includes the right to have an abortion'' and that ``the law is settled in that regard.''

WHY DO THEY HATE US?
Hmmm, because there's no Jon Stewart on al-Jazeera to help steer them toward a reaction drawing upon a well-honed sense of irony?!
Rep. Tom Tancredo of Littleton made his remarks in response to a question about what should be the US response in the event of an attack by jihadists, similar to the bombings in England last week. Tancredo said:
Well, what if you said something like — if this happens in the United States, and we determine that it is the result of extremist, fundamentalist Muslims, you know, you could take out their holy sites.
"You're talking about bombing Mecca," Campbell said.
"Yeah," Tancredo responded.
Well, I'll bet Jon Stewart WILL have a take on this irresponsibly buffoonish brain-fart - but the jihadists won't see it . . .

American Street
Frank Zappa’s The Mothers of Invention immortalized those words in his 1966 debut album and many took its references to be about drugs. But he was really writing in the post Civil Rights/post-Watts-riots era, suggesting cultural turmoil could spread anywhere, which proved prophetic ... Since the 2001 passage of the Patriot Act, its staunchest supporters have used Zappa’s refrain.
... There’s numerous historical examples of infringements on liberty during US wars. Lincoln declared martial law. WWI saw the Espionage & Sedition Acts. WWII saw the internment of Japanese-Americans. Vietnam saw Cointelpro. Yet despite the precedents, no-one’s ever demonstrated any positive impact from such expansions of police powers, or at least, none that outweighed the negative consequences. Deprived of property, personal freedom or civil liberties, most of these actions in practice stifled and intimidated political dissent, on false promises of increased security.... guys like Rove and Libby (and Cheney and Wolfowitz and Rummy and Sensenbrenner) targeting political enemies with unethical and probably illegal actions, peaceful organizations (ACLU & Greenpeace) under surveillance, it’s all Vietnam redux ... And in the strangest twist, it’s a formerly AWOL ex-doper leading the charge from the White House ...
